Dr. Harp is an Assistant Professor of Nutrition and Medicine
at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her
medical degree from Tulane University, and post-graduate training
from the University of Maryland and Emory University. She is board
certified in Endocrinology and Metabolism with Added Qualifications
in Geriatrics. Dr. Harp is the director of the weight management
clinic at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is the
course director for the Nutrition Curriculum in the medical school.
She has published research articles on cell signaling and obesity.
Her research on adipose tissue growth in obesity is supported by the
National Institutes of Health.
