An Introduction to the Cyberkitchen

Welcome to the Shape Up America! Cyberkitchen. Our goal is to help you choose meals and snacks that meet your calorie goals so you can achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Here's how it works:

One   Give us some information about yourself: age, height, weight, gender and activity level.

Two   Based on this information, we’ll estimate your daily calorie goal. You can adjust this goal if you want to lose or gain weight. If you want to monitor your dietary fat, our fat grams calculator will tell you the maximum amount of fat to consume during the day.

Three   Choose your meals from our selection of great-tasting breakfasts, lunches, dinners and snacks. Or choose the 7-day pre-selected meal plan that will match your daily calorie goal.

Four   Receive a report that compares the meals you selected to your calorie goal. If your meal plan is over your calorie goal, you can:

  • Burn the extra calories through physical activity of your choice.
  • Select new meals that are lower in daily calories.
If your meal plan is under your calorie goal, you can:
  • Add calories by choosing some snacks.
  • Select new meals that are higher in daily calories.
  • Bank the unused calories and save them for another day.

Five   View the recipes and shopping list based on your meal choices. You may add items to the shopping list, then print the recipes and shopping list.
